FAQ

What is TVC doing regarding safety concerns of the Covid-19?

Due to the growing concerns of the Coronavirus outbreak, TVC has decided to move the date of our TVC RISEvet Chicago event from April 19th to October 11th, to maximize a positive, safe, and successful event for all.

We will also follow and and encourage any safety guidelines at the time of the events, such as encouraging everyone to wash hands often, refrain from physical contact with one another, providing hand sanitizer and wipes, and refraining from attending if feeling ill.

Why do TVC Clinics get free access?

TVC is owned by participating hospitals, and one perk of that ownership is free attendance to certain educational events.  Clinics who would like to participate at no cost are required to reach certain benchmarks to ensure that they receive this opportunity at no cost.  If you are interested in learning how to become a TVC Co-op Owner and receive this as a benefit in the future, check out www.tvc.coop.

Where do I park & is parking paid for?

Chicago event: Free parking can be found in Lot C (the staff/faculty lot).  Once parked, please enter building through Door 37. Check back for more details about the Atlanta and Las Vegas events!

What is The Veterinary Cooperative?

The Veterinary Cooperative was started by 4 veterinarians from around the country who had a common goal to level the playing field in pricing, marketing and business techniques between independent practices and the growing corporate hospitals, big box stores, pharmacies and online providers that are encroaching on the independent animal hospital's ability to be profitable. TVC aims to keep our hospitals competitive and profitable. TVC is differentiated from other purchasing groups in the marketplace because of our unique ownership structure (we are owned by our participating hospitals), an atmosphere that focuses on cooperation on all levels, and our dedication to providing premier education.

We are a TVC Clinic, is TVC RISEvet open to my staff as well?

Yes! TVC RISEvet™ is a free event open to any TVC partnered hospital staff, while space allows.  Once we reach maximum capacity for free seats, there may be an additional opportunity to attend at a discounted conference rate.

Should I still come if I am not a member of TVC?

TVC RISEvet™ started as an educational event provided only to TVC partnered hospitals, but because of the success of past conferences we can now bring it to a larger audience!  Whether you are part of a TVC hospital or not, we would love to have you.  We are committed to making you a better business person through educational tools and resources provided at TVC RISEvet™.  Plus, attending one of the conferences may just make you excited about how TVC could continue to positively impact your hospital.

Is TVC RISEvet only for Owners or Practice Managers?

No!  At TVC RISEvet™ we focus on a whole practice approach to education.  We believe that education at all levels of your veterinary business is imperative to your continued success.  We have historically had a diverse audience in attendance, although the highest percentage of participation is seen from DVM Owners and Practice Managers.
